What is identity verification?

What if I have trouble verifying my identity?

When adding your information, match your name exactly to your legal name on your ID. Contact us if the information entered is accurate, but you still cannot pass verification.

What if I did not complete identity verification?

Until you verify your identity, your account will be restricted from using any of the Metis products and services. Metis will help you in any way that we can to ensure you can verify your identity.

What does Metis do with my information?

We collect necessary information to allow our users to use our products and services. This primarily includes data collection that is mandated by law, such as when we must comply with anti-money laundering laws, or verify your identity to protect you from potential fraudulent activity.
