Do I need to do anything?

You may need to verify and update your identity and account information. You will receive an email if necessary.

If you receive an email saying you need to update your identity or account information, please follow the instructions at your earliest convenience.

What if I have previously verified my identity?

Even if you have verified your identity in the past, new regulations require that we gather additional information for some Metis users. This may require uploading or verifying documentation you have previously uploaded in the past, and unfortunately, is out of our control.

When do I need to verify my identity?

If you do not verify your identity, then functionality in your Metis account will automatically be restricted, and you will be unable to transact on your account. To avoid having your account restricted, you will need to verify your identity.

Why is my account restricted?

You will see a message in your Metis account saying you need to update your identity or account information. Follow the prompts to update your identity and account information to remove the account restriction.
